Brief Description
New Zealand Shipping Company Limited passenger list for the royal mail steamship Rimutaka, sailing from Wellington to London, departure date 27 November 1890.

On the front cover of the tri-fold printed list is an illustration of a Māori warrior under a nikau palm in front of a river and mountains. In the centre of the page is an illustration of a ship on the ocean. Above this is the shipping company's name, flag and an illustration of mountains.

Inside on the left is information about the shipping company, its various branches and ships. The middle and right sections are a list of the passengers in Saloon and Steerage. Gives brief information about the ship, the sailing date and the captain and surgeon.

On the back left flap is a blank log chart with areas for date, distance run, latitude, longitude and wind. On the back centre panel is a map of the world.
