Also tucked into the front of the book are four loose pages. The first sheet is dated 5 February and is noted as the first and second watch for the married peoples compartment and lists those responsible for each position. The second sheet is completely blank. The third sheet has illegible pencil writing on it. The fourth sheet is the beginning of a letter dated 24 October and addressed to Mother, but unsigned.
