Brief Description
Diary, Bernard Chambers:
(a) Personal diary of Joseph Bernard Chambers of Te Mata Station, 1928. Written in Whitcombe's New Zealand Handy Diary for 1928, Bernard Chambers' diary entries record the weather, his daily activities and developments at Te Mata Station.

At the front and back of the diary are advertising pages for Whitcombe and Tombs. The first section of the diary contains information on New Zealand under the following headings: Banks doing Business in New Zealand; Civil Service; Ephemeris; Legal Memoranda; New Zealand Government; Postal Regulations; Telegrams. Not listed in the Contents is a folded map of the North and South Islands showing the main highways.
