A conveyance deed from Te Weihe, a woman from Wairoa, to James Carroll from Gisborne, Licensed Native Interpreter.
Te Weihe gifted it to James Carroll in consideration of the natural love and affection which she the said Te Weihe bears towards the said James Carroll.
The land blocks gifted were Huramoa No 2, 187 acres and No 3, 765 acres at Wairoa. The date of the deed was 1885.
Included on the deed is a map of the Huramoa Blocks.
