Brief Description
This is the lease for Te Parakore land Block A near Te Aute, and states: Aboriginal Natives to James McLaren Munn horsetrainer & David Hogg Munn both of Hastings.

There is a map of the Te Parakore Block A which shows it bounded by Koparakore Block B, Te Aute number 6, Peka Peka Block and the Mangaroa Block.

The area comprised 623 acres, 1 rood and 16 perches.

On the lease are written two columns of owners. The first six names from the first column are: Watene Hapuku; Heneiparatia; Te Kaoha Hupata; Hokomatoa; Te Maihiko; Keremeneta Hupata.

The first six names from the second column are: Kawhena Hupata; Petera Wherara; Miriama Hera (Hira); Ihakara Tawehe; Karaurai Hawea; Ihakara Takapiri.
