Brief Description
This is a lease, written in Māori for the Pukekura land block which is situated near Te Aute in Central Hawke's Bay. The names of the Māori owners cited at the beginning of the lease are: Hiraka Te Aroatua, Arihi Karanema, of Niu Tireni, Hamuera Wiremu of Te Aute.

The lease between Māori and Samuel Williams. Signed (x) by Huaka Te ...... and Arihi Karanema.
