St Joseph's Māori Girls' College pupils Flora Edwards (left) and Puhehuia Cotter wrote the tune and words for their composition, Tenei Au Me Taku, in just two and a half hours. Their poi tune won the first New Zealand-wide Māori action song competition sponsored by the NZBC.
