Brief Description
Portrait of Robert John (Bob) Sweetapple. The Sweetapple family owned and ran Gilberd & Company Ltd., a soft drink company in Napier, for four generations. Bob Sweetapple was director of the company when it closed in 1986.
On the back of the portrait is a newspaper clipping of the artist's house in Thompson Road, Napier.
