Brief Description
J D Ormond outwards letter register, incomplete. Part of an index of responses to correspondence received, made while J D Ormond was Agent of General Government for Napier, circa 1869–1870. Covers land sales and settlement in Gisborne, Maori relations, military movements, officer appointments, and accounts paid. Last page has an index tab ‘A B’, and listings for 'Adjutant, Hokitika', and 'Officer Com. Christchurch, Canterbury'. Each response has a folio number beside it.
