About this object
Unwanted tops from a row of piles in the motorway bridge in Guppy Road, Taradale, being removed by Mr J. Nehemia with a pneumatic drill. The piles will be capped and a pier built on top. The river level is five feet higher than the hollow in which Mr Nehemia is working and two pumps, with a total capacity of 120,000 gallons an hour, are coping with the heavy seepage.
